- What if I show up late?
We do request that you show up NO LATER than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour. This allows time for everyone in your group to get properly checked in and use the restroom before your Columbia Falls zipline tour starts. If you arrive late and are not checked in for your scheduled tour time, we can do our best to reschedule your tour. Unfortunately, Glacier Ziplines cannot guarantee that we can get you on the next tour or even reschedule your tour for the same day. So please do your best to arrive at least 15 minutes early as we do want everyone to be able to enjoy their scheduled Zipline Canopy Tour.
- What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations MUST be made 48 hours before your scheduled tour to receive a refund. No shows are charged 100% of the booking price.
- What happens if I get scared?
A Zipline Canopy Tour tests your fear of heights and trust. It is part of our guides’ training to help manage both of these risks. The canopy tour begins with flight school. This is to test your ability to follow instructions and get you comfortable in your harness so you learn to trust your equipment and your guide. If you are at all uncomfortable or scared you should check in with one of your guides before moving on to the zipline course.
- Is ziplining safe?
Just like any other activity, there are inherent risks; you’ll be testing your fear of heights, your fingers could get pinched, etc. Ziplining does require some active participation from each rider and listening to your guides’ riding instructions is important. Our guides here at Glacier Ziplines are trained to make sure you have as much fun as possible while managing the risks that ziplining could potentially pose.
- Can I give someone a zipline tour as a gift?
Yes! We think zipline tours make great gifts! You can purchase a Glacier Ziplines gift certificate through our website and print out a confirmation immediately. The confirmation pages are not fancy looking; however, it includes everything the recipient needs in order to book their Zipline Canopy Tour! And really… who wants to zipline alone? Buy yourself one and go with them! 😉
- Do you require reservations? Do you take walk-ins?
We recommend you make reservations but we do not require it. We try to take walk-ins, but cannot guarantee you a spot as soon you arrive, or even that day, if we are fully booked. We highly encourage you to book online anytime or call during normal business hours. If it is during the off season, you can still book your zipline tour online for the following season.
- Do you run tours when it's raining?
Yes, Glacier Zipline tours go out rain or shine! If the forecast is calling for possible rain make sure to bring a rain jacket for your rainy day adventure!
- What should I wear while zip lining?
Zipline riders must wear closed-toed shoes. If you show up in sandals you will not be allowed to participate. Skirts and dresses are not allowed while ziplining. We recommend longer shorts, capris, or pants.
- Do you have weight, age, or height restrictions?
Yes, zipline riders must be at least seven years of age, and weigh between 50 and 250 pounds.
Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign their participation agreement forms.
Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also participating in the zipline canopy tour.
There are no height restrictions.
